Revising your work is extremely important. To revise my work, I will read my work out loud to help me watch grammar mistakes or spelling mistakes. By reading out loud, I can correct anything that needs to be corrected and maybe even add new ideas to my assignment. This will allow my work to flow efficiently and have a proper tone. My favorite thing to do to revise my work is taking a break and coming back to it. I typically try to start an assignment 3-4 days before the due date. I’m always thinking so much while working on an assignment I accidentally forget to add certain details. Taking breaks is an essential way to revise my work because I also have other class assignments to do that will need me to pay close attention to. The break time frame will allow me to also get other assignments done. By taking breaks and going back to it from time to time, it gives my brain time to catch a breath and create new ideas. I will always ask my professor to look over my assignment!! I would love to hear feedback and suggestions. I’m not the type of person that doesn’t care about others opinion and I know how to take constructive criticism. Checking for clarity will also allow me to make sure my assignments make sense. Secondary sources I will use to bolster my previous research is our school library. I am writing for my group and myself. I say I am writing for my group because I will be contributing my small project, I worked on by myself last semester. All our individual projects play a key role in our final group presentation at the end of the semester. With everyone showing and explaining their projects, it gives our audience a brief description of how our semester went. I said I was writing for myself because of course there’s no one else expected to do my part in the project LOL.
