Introduction
This semester has been different from the last semester regarding CODES. The rules regarding both classes have changed. I have enjoyed talking as a class in research teams, and I am ready to go back to the garden. I have not struggled with much this semester, things have been a lot lighter than last semester. I believe that I have done well with Goals 2, 3 and 5. This means that I need to work on Goals 1 and 4.
Goal #1 (20%)
12.B: Facilitates collaborators; contributions by building upon their contributions and noticing when someone is not participating and inviting them to engage.
This was a document that members of my group and I worked on. This included Alejandra, Juan, and Zachary. We all contributed and when someone was not contributing we encouraged them to.
Goal #2 (20%)
8.B: Uses compelling, appropriate delivery techniques.
Goal #3 (10%)
7.C: Reviews prior learning inside and outside of the classroom to reveal significantly changed perspectives about educational and life experiences.
Before CODES classes, I usually would not take notes on readings, I would usually just try to remember things unless the notes were for an assignment. Dr. Jack has made me realize that notes are a very essential tool for this class to contribute to discussions, so I took the time to read and highlight things I thought were important about this source.
Goal #4 (10%)
10.C: Uses quantitative information to support arguments and draw logical conclusions.
Goal #5 (40%)
12.C: Works independently toward goals by contributing and meeting deadlines.
