My Goals

Major

I am planning on majoring in Computer Science. I would like to learn more about computers and how they work and are made. I would also like to contribute to making apps at some point, or tech repair.

Career Interests

Ever since I was little, I always wondered how electronics worked. Even to this day, I still wonder and am fascinated when I am able to take something apart and see how it works on the inside. Also looking at just the little parts that make one thing just work perfectly just amazes me. I also like to figure out what is going on “behind the scenes”. Did you know that when watching a YouTube video, it is just a copy of the original being processed onto your local machine? Having been passed through many gateways to get just to your computer, all in a fraction of a second.

Courses Completed

CS 111 – Concepts of Computer Science

Covered fundamental CS concepts and computational thinking, with a little bit of programming.

CS 140 – Introduction to Computing I

First real programming ourse, learning the fundamentals in C++ like variables, functions, and data structures

CS 150 – Introduction to Computing II

Built on CS140 with more advanced topics like Binary Search Trees, and Linked Lists.

CS 234 – Web Development

Covered web technologies and coded in HTML. Created a website that was like a shopping page for games. This class helped me to figure out how certain components work together for websites and applications.

CS 286 – Intro to Computer Organization and Architecture

Covered how computers are at the hardware level. CPU architecture, memory hierarchy, and how code gets translated to machine code.

CS 314 – Operating Systems

Coveered how operating systems manage memory, processes, and system resources.

CS 325 – Software Engineering

Covered software design principles and engineering practicies. This is where I build the Job Matcher project, and applied SOLID design principles.

CS 330 – Programming Languages

Covered how different programming languages are designed and structured, comparing them, and seeing how language affects problem-solving.

CS 340 – Algorithms and Data Structures

Covered core data structures and algorithms, building the foundation for advanced algorithms courses in the future.

CS 360 – Ethics and Social Implications of Computing

Explored the ethical responsibilities of working in tech, including privacy, bias, and social impact of technology.

CS 382 – Game Development

Covered game design and principles and practiced with Unity development.

CS 490 – Applied Graph Theory

Covered graph theory through ands-on Python projects using NetworkX and Gephi.

IE 106 – Engineering Problem Solving

An introductory enginerring course that I took when I was still a Computer Engineering major. Covered multiple different engineering practices, and had hands-on experience with all of them.

MATH 150 – Calculus I

Covered foundational calculus concepts: limits, derivatives, and basic integration.

MATH 152 – Calculus II

Build on Calc I with more advance integration techniques, series, and sequences.

MATH 224 – Discrete Mathematics

Covered mathematical foundations of computer science: logic, proofs, set theory, and combinatorics.

MATH 250 – Calculus III

Covered multivariable calculus, including vector fields, surface/line integrals, and various theorems.

MATH 321 – Linear Algebra

Covered vector spaces, matricies, and linear transformations.

STAT 244 – Statistics

Covered statistical fundamentals, including a lab applying regression analysis in R.

PHYS 141/L – Physics I and Lab

Covered classical mechanics fundamentals, paired with a lab part.

PHYS 151/L – Physics II and Lab

Covered electricity, magnetism, and related concepts, with another lab part.

CODES

Worked with the community to shine some light on a sensitive topic with MOBOT. These classes also helped me to reinforce my research, groupwork, and time management skills.

In Progress (Fall 2026)

Analysis of Algorithms

Currently studying algorithm design stategies and performance analysis. This has been done with the greedy algoritm, sorting staegy comparison, and time complexity.

Networks and Data Communications

Currently learning networking fundamentals though hands-on socket programming.
