Dissemination Plan

Our project is designed to teach students about water conservation and how it connects to the ongoing water crisis. Each group member has an individual role that contributes to the overall project. This might include creating material for a water fair, collecting interviews, and developing a toolkit. All of these pieces work together to support our main goal of educating others and promoting better water-use habits.

Our main audience is students in grades 5 through 12. We want to help young people understand the importance of conserving water and encourage them to make more responsible choices in their daily lives. Students are important because they are future decision-makers who can have a strong influence on environmental outcomes. Other groups who may benefit from this project include teachers, schools, community partners, and after-school programs that may not already have an environmental curriculum in place.

To use our project effectively, education should review the Water Fair Toolkit. This toolkit includes lesson plans, activities, and guidance for running a water fair. Sharing this project is important because it can help raise awareness and encourage students K-8 to make better decisions about water use. Over time, this can contribute to positive environmental change and help address some issue related to the water crisis.

We also prioritize ethical values such as respect, fairness, and honesty throughout our work. It is important that we use inclusive language to remain sensitive to communities that are most affected by water inequality.

As a group, we stay in contact mainly through text message to share updates and keep each other informed. We also have deadlines and utilize a shared Google Drive folder to organize all of our documents, images, and resources.
