Reflection #1:
For my groups site, I would like to know more about the people there that are going. I would like to know what purpose they serve at the event, why they are there, and how did they get there. With being on the site, it will make my experience more efficient and easier to understand because I get a in-life real experience with the individuals rather than connecting online. In other words, face to face connection. I would like to get to know the individuals better one by one by asking them questions about themselves and why they are who they are today. I am tending to target young adults ranging from the ages 18-24. I would like to know if they have any connections to water conservation and if they don’t, I would like to know why they don’t. As for the site, I would like to observe the demographics and the geography of the event. I would like to collect data such as how many people attended, what gender was greater than, what race was dominant at the event, and how much do the individuals know about water conservation or how little. As far for the demographics of the event, I would love to identify and break down the scenery and compare it to how it relates to water conservation. I would like to sit back and observe the scenery. I would like to take notes on what suites others interests and what type of activities their most interested in. Since my main focus is on young adults, I personally believe I would be able to relate more to the audience and actually understand where they’re coming from. I am right in close within age so I shouldn’t have no hard time. My generation tends to speak up more on these sources of issues with helps make an impact in our community, and if we don’t, today isn’t a bad day to start bringing awareness. To touch base on my partners, I feel as if we’re all really excited to become more hands on with our project. I really like this new idea of us having to do our OWN projects then come together to combine them at the end. The barrier to building trust is to always communicate with one another. Without communication, there’s no way for us to interact with each other and allow for us to try to trust each other. I will adjust my plan to meet my groups needs by preparing an outline and showing them what my plans are for my take of the project. By doing so, I will collect each and every one’s opinion and shift my way to changing my project to accommodate my and their needs. It always been my goal to be considerate of my groups needs. I do not think keeping them in mind will be an issue for me. I will aways strive to have really good team meetings to see where all of our heads are at.
