First-Week Introduction
The reason I chose my 5 goals is I want to be able to go into any situation with an understanding mindset towards someone’s lifestyle and be able to listen to why or how they live their lives. I need to be more studious and work to educate myself outside of the classroom wether that be on my own or in a group I want to learn how to make my classwork easier to understand without just following what the teachers provide. Another goal is to create different scenarios and solutions in order to discover what will give the best outcome. Additionally, I have a goal to provide help on group projects by working some things out on my own and then consulting my ideas with the group. My last goal is to make sure when I’m speaking it’s not just to my understanding, but my writing and speaking is comprehensible by the audience reading or listening to it.

Course Goals
Choose five goals from the CODES Student Learning Outcomes that you’d like to work toward. Choose goals that are relevant to the scope of this course, select artifacts/examples based on activities assigned for this course, and explain characteristics in a way that illustrates how your artifacts/examples demonstrate your progress toward the goal.
Goal 1: 6C (10%)
Keep an open mind when talking or being surrounded by someone of a different culture.

Working with a group for Digital Project #1. We went around our residence hall and taking pictures of different things or people that help us gain a deeper understanding of how there is a “community” within different places.
