Hello, my name is Hunter Cummins, and I am interested in a career in Computer Science. I graduated with a degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics. I have been interested in how computers work since I was little, so I thought it would be good to pursue a career in it.
Throughout my experience in college, I have created multiple projects varying from very simple searches, to a complex pipeline. I have developed strong group work and communication skills. One of my two most memorable moments in college was working within the Community Oriented Digital Engagement Scholars (CODES) to work with MOBOT to unveil their history regarding a sensitive topic. This taught me on how to effectively work with other people, and understanding how certain people work together.
These skills would help me in a computer science scenario because of the constant group work required within development groups. So a type of job with groups, such as software development, or game development would suit me.
